Release Notes

The exacqVision 24.12 update introduces significant enhancements to the mobile experience, integrations, and enterprise management. Tablet users can now enjoy landscape mode for improved live camera monitoring, a larger search interface, and enhanced event investigation. The mobile app also adds audio support in search and playback, including a dedicated audio focus page with 2-way audio functionality

Integration updates include Pro-Watch V6.5 integration, enabling unified video management within Pro-Watch. Additionally, users gain granular event linking with CCURE, allowing triggers for specific events such as "door forced open." The update also supports AI analytics from i-Pro AI cameras, providing event-based alerts with bounding boxes.

Lastly, the Enterprise Manager receives a backend overhaul for greater performance and security, including a new session timeout feature for automatic logouts after inactivity. Overall, this release enhances usability, integration capabilities, and security across the exacqVision ecosystem.

exacqVision Mobile: Landscape mode support for tablet users

exacqVision Mobile has always been supported on tablet devices, but it requires the user to operate the app in portrait mode, which is not an ideal user experience. Now tablet users will have the option to operate the app in landscape mode for a more seamless user experience.

    exacqVision Mobile 1

Tablet users can monitor live cameras in landscape mode, enabling them to view larger, more detailed images.

    exacqVision Mobile 2

The Focus page gives tablet users more screen space when interacting with camera associations and searching for recordings.

    exacqVision Mobile 3

When using the Events page to search recorded video on one or more cameras, tablet users have more screen real estate for more efficient investigations.

exacqVision Mobile: Audio support in search & playback

In addition to seamless video searching, exacqVision Mobile users can now play back associated audio recordings when searching for events.

    exacqVision Mobile 4

Audio devices now have their own Focus page to make it easier to search for audio recordings and use 2-way audio.

    exacqVision Mobile 5

The audio focus page is also available for tablet users in both portrait and landscape modes.

Integrations: exacqVision VMS now integrates with Pro-Watch

    Integrations 1

Pro-Watch Integrated Security Suite V6.5 now allows exacqVision VMS integration from their configuration interface. A Pro-Watch user can now associate events with camera clips automatically and view them in one Pro-Watch UI.

    Features & Benefits:

    • Import utility for bulk import of cameras from Exacq Enterprise Manager to Pro-Watch
    • Exacq NVR camera association with logical devices /events in Pro-Watch
    • User permission control settings for accessing video from ProWatch
    • Live and playback of video with controls

    Integrations 2

Integrations: More granular event linking or ability to Alarm with CCURE

This functionality allows exacqVision to represent the active status of an event regardless of which software – CCURE or exacqVision – was involved in triggering the CCURE event. In the past, exacqVision could always trigger or do event monitoring based on status changes; it could do so dynamically for CCURE events (without manual user actions). For example, while we can trigger on door status, with the new release customers can use event linking to trigger based on door forced open and door held open events (configured in CCURE).

    Integrations 3

Integrations: Support AI analytics from i-Pro AI cameras

We now can support the analytics on the iPro AI cameras along with bounding boxes and the ability to event link and alarm on it.

    Integrations 5

    Integrations: ONVIF Serial PTZ support

With this capability, IP NVRs are now enhanced to allow the user control of PTZ on analog cameras using the system's USB with a USB to RS422/RS485 converters connected to the Exacq IP systems leveraging the ONVIF plugin. This basically allows for seamless integration with brownfield projects by allowing multiple RS-422 outputs to control AD-SNET Speed Domes.

    Integrations 6

    Enterprise Manager Enhancements

Enterprise Manager received a complete revamp of the backend design for better robustness, performance, and long-term maintainability. In addition, to further the goal of making the product more secure, this new feature, a new setting for session timeout, will auto-log out the user after a period of inactivity.
