Enabling remote connectivity

To enable remote connectivity, you must first select the Allow Remote Connections check box in the Settings tab in the Client window.
  1. From the navigation tree, select Remote Connections.
  2. In the Remote Connections window, to choose to enable mobile or desktop remote connectivity, click the Mobile Connectivity tab or the Desktop Connectivity tab.
  3. Select the systems that you want to enable connectivity for, then click Enable Remote Connectivity.
    Note: When you enable remote connectivity, the system creates remote-optimized streams for supported cameras. For more information, see Remote optimized streaming.
  4. To disable remote connectivity, select a system, then click Disable Remote Connectivity > Disable.
    Note: If you disable remote connectivity, connected remote users will not be connected to the system.
