Last night we attended the Indiana Entrepreneurial Leadership Awards banquet, held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Exacq Technologies was one of the award finalists.
The award, sponsored by the Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, spotlights Indiana’s top emerging companies for their growth, innovation and social enterprise. To be eligible for the awards, companies had to be founded by the 2005 fiscal year, be a public or private corporation with a proprietorship or partnership located in Indiana, and have revenues of more than $1 million. Thirty-five of the companies are at least 5 years old and employ more than 10,000 people in Indiana. They have a combined revenue of $800 million. Exacq Technologies was nominated in the Growth segment, which recognizes companies with at least 35 percent growth over a two-year period.
We were in good company here, given the impressive list of Finalists. Other companies nominated include on-demand e-mail marketing firm ExactTarget, medical device maker Omnitech Systems, network storage maker Scale Computing, wireless device distributor Brightpoint, supplier relationship management software vendor Iasta, and others. The complete list of nominees is here.
Our thanks to IU’s Kelley School of Business for this award.
