Exacq Media Resources web page added
We’ve added a Media Resources Page to our website.
This page, with the latest information on our exacqVision NVR product line, is designed for media outlets as well as our resellers. The Media Resources page contains our latest exacqVision press releases, along with camera-ready and web-ready artwork, including product logos, exacqVision screenshots, product photos, and more.
We will be adding an RSS feed to the page in the near future.
The Exacq Media Resources web page can be viewed here.

PTZ Anywhere
With the latest version of exacqVision software (Version 2.0 or later) found on exacqVision Pro and exacqVision IP systems, you can now use common PTZ (Pan, Tilt Zoom) features with any camera. Simply Right Click on the video window and choose the “Digital PTZ” option.
You can now zoom in, out, left, right, up and down anywhere within the fixed image using the mouse and/or keyboard of your computer. You can also save PTZ Preset views just as you would with an analog or IP PTZ camera. The Digital PTZ control works the same way as an actual PTZ camera on the system. This is a particularly powerful feature when using megapixel cameras like the IQeye 302 as in this example. When we zoom in on the front license plate of the truck on the left, we see that this person, one of our own programmers, is a fan of Harley Davidson Shovelhead (“SHVLHED”) motorcycles.

We are pleased to announce that we have expanded the territory for our Mid-Western sales representative firm, Burhans-Burhans. In addition to covering Illinois and Wisconsin, They will also be handling exacqVision reseller sales activities for the states of Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri.
Jerry, Jerome, Andrew and Jason of Burhans-Burhans can be contacted by e-mail here, by visiting their website here, or by phone at 1-312-226-6843. A complete listing of all of Exacq’s North American Sales Representatives can be found on our website here.

Updated exacqVision Product Web Pages
We have updated the exacqVision product section of our website.
There are now detailed pages on exacqVision Pro, the hybrid NVR system; and exacqVision IP, the software solution for IP video surveillance systems.
Additionally, an ordering page with a complete product model listing with part numbers, and a complete list of supported IP cameras with individual spec page links for each model have also been added.
New exacqVision Quick Start Guides
In addition to all of the updated documentation surrounding the exacqVision 2.0 release, we have also released two new documents: the exacqVision IP Quick Start Guide and the exacqVision Pro Quick Start Guide. Each of these guides has been designed to enable easy setup and configuration for both exacqVision Pro hybrid systems and exacqVision IP software-based video surveillance systems.
Both exacqVision Quick Start guides are available now on our downloads page.
New exacqVision Disk Calculator 2.0
To correspond with this week’s release of Version 2.0 of exacqVision, we have posted exacqVision Disk Calculator v2.0. This new, web-based app enables you to quickly enter number and types of cameras, estimated motion, days of storage and other parameters. The calculator will then configure the system complete with all part numbers.
In addition to analog camera calculations, the exacqVision Disk Calculator v2.0 supports all of the IP cameras enabled in exacqVision, including megapixel and multi-megapixel resolutions from companies such as Axis, IQinvision and Sony.
You can access the new exacqVision Disk Calculator here.
